Members of the Netball Club played at a varsity tournament on Tuesday 17th October at Tillingbourne School. We played four matches, rotating positions after every one. We won two games, lost one and drew one. It was fast paced and exciting to watch as our players defended well and quickly moved into space to receive the ball and intercept. A great first tournament for some players!

On Wednesday 1st February we sent two netball teams to Woolmer Hill to play in a mini tournament against other schools in our confederation. Both teams played 4 matches in the school sports hall. The children all played brilliantly, they were marking, defending and moving quickly on to the ball. Some players were new to netball and some had played before, it was a good learning experience for everyone and we saw improvement in each game. The final scores were: Third place for one team and First place for another!
