E-Safety

At St Mary's we follow the Purple Mash scheme of work for learning discrete Computing skills and E-Safety, this scheme is also complemented by using a range of technology across all areas of the curriculum to enhance learning.

Internet and technology safety is at the heart of Computing teaching. Even for pupils as young as Reception age, it is important that we prepare our children for life in the online world and the risks that this may bring.

It is important that we are aware of these risks and that we stay up to date with current government legislation and news regarding e-safety.

Please see below for our St Mary's E-Safety Guide for Parents and follow the links and documents for ways in which you can support your child at home. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask your child's teacher.
