District Sports

The school athletics team visited Charterhouse to compete in our annual District Sports event on Friday 15th July. It was warm but cloudy - perfect weather for running! The children demonstrated a postive and competitive attitude, they were focussed and all did their very best. They also showed excellent determination and perservence in their events showing that St Marys were ready to Win!

Out of six schools, the girls team came second, the boys team came fourth and overall we came fourth, missing out on third, by only a small number of points.

Thank you to all parents who have helped coach Athletics clubs over the Summer Term, to all those who came and supported us, and of course to the children who were excellent! Mrs Wright was very proud!
