In RE last term we were looking the the Nativity story and the thoughts and feelings the people would have had. We looked at what the shepherds would have been thinking and many of the other people too.

During the Spring Term Year 5 have been looking the the narrative poem The Lady of Shallot. We looked at the description of the island and had a go at making our own tourist brochures. We looked at the characters and wrote dairies to show what they would have done during the day.

 

 

 

 

We even turned the poem into prose to make it easy to understand. In one lesson we dressed up at characters from the poem and tried to work out who put the curse upon the Lady of Shallot!
