We are looking to appoint a confident, enthusiastic and preferably experienced Teaching assistant with the skills to support the learning within our Year 5 class.   This post is for a fixed term of one year commencing in September, 2010, but there maybe the possibility for extension. We would also like to further utilise your skills at lunchtime by joining our lunchtime team, encouraging all the children in our care to have a happy, safe and sociable playtime experience. 

 

As a teaching assistant you will work 10 hours per week, term time plus 3 training days. The rate of pay will be based on Surrey Pay 3 (£3360 - £3631 per annum). As a playtime assistant you will work 5 hours per week term time only (between and the rate of pay will be based on Surrey Pay 1 (£1494-£1554 per annum. You will ideally work as a teaching assistant for two hours each morning (9.30 – 11.30 a.m.) followed by one hour as playtime assistant (12 noon – 1.00 p.m).
