Charities

The school supports a number of charities throughout the course of a year.

Each week the children collect money to support the education of a young girl called Robinah who lives in Uganda. This support is provided through the charity World Vision (www.worldvision.org.uk). We also have collection containers at School Reception in which parents and visitors can deposit any loose change they may have.

We regularly support the following charities throughout the year.

Marie Curie Daffodils

Poppy Appeal

Children in Need

Christian Aid

The children are very keen to support others less fortunate than themselves and are always very willing to come to school in “mufti” for whatever reason – red and/or yellow for Comic Relief (www.ComicRelief.com), funky footwear for Surrey Air Ambulance “Funky Footwear Friday” to name just two!!

Over the last three years the school community has also raised several thousand pounds to support Leukemia research following the death of a dearly loved pupil. Here is Paul Bull handing over a cheque for £1100 on 15th February, 2008 for Chloe's Forget Me Not Fund.
